President Muhammadu Buhari will anytime soon leave Nigeria for the United Kingdom (UK) on what the presidency has described as a “private visit”.

After an official visit scheduled for Maiduguri, the Borno State capital on Thursday, Buhari will leave the country.

Further to his official visit to Lagos, he commissioned a number of projects, some still under construction, by the State Government on Wednesday.

According to the Special Adviser to the President (Media & Publicity), Mr Femi Adesina said that Buhari is expected to return to Nigeria on May 5, 2019.

However, there are speculations that the president may be going to London for medicals, as his doctors are known to be reside there, and he has visited London severally for that purpose.
