As preparatiom are on top gear towards the first national Democracy Day, the chairman of the organising committee, Boss Mustapha, on Thursday, said the speech to be delivered by President Muhammadu Buhari on the day would not disappoint Nigerians.

Mustapha said this after supervising the Eagle Square, venue of the event which is scheduled for June 12, in company of the former Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed.

The duo also inspected the military and police rehearsals which lasted several hours.

“Preparation is going on well for the new national day. The event will witness interplay of military parade and cultural dance. There will be Democracy Day speech by President Buhari. Nigerians are expectant and they will not be disappointed” he said.


Sylvester

Sylvester is an event manager and decorator. He is a trained extension agent and a development communicator, a freelance writer, drama minister and pastor.
