The first case of coronavirus was confirmed in Nigeria just about a month ago, and the number has been rising steadily since then. The first case was confirmed in Lagos, but as at now, about 12 states have recorded the disease within her borders.

Lagos State is currently leading the charts with nothing less than 82 confirmed cases, with Abuja following having nothing less than 28 confirmed cases.

The stats in Nigeria, as 31st March, 2020 (8pm), is as follows:

FCT – 28
Oyo – 8
Osun – 5
Ogun – 4
Kaduna – 3
Enugu – 2
Edo – 2
Bauchi – 2
Ekoti – 1
Rivers – 1
Benue – 1

In summary, there have been 139 confirmed cases, 9 has been discharged, and 2 deaths.
