The Anmesty International (AI) on Thursday evening raised an alarm, saying men of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) of The Nigeria Police Force (NPF), invaded a community in Lagos, shooting and injuries many civilians in the process.

AI said the operatives invaded a popular and heavily populated area of the state known as Amuwo-Odofin.

The cause of this action has however not been ascertained.

This development is coming few hours after the Nigeria Police Force (NPF), dismissed one inspector Ogunyemi Olalekan, having found him guilty of killing Kolade Johnson.

It was gathered that the said inspector has been transferred to Panti, State Criminal and Investigative Department (SCIID), Lagos, for fruther investigation and criminal trial.

Johnson was shot dead four days ago, while watching a televised football match in Mangoro area of Lagos.
